The coat rack was of much better quality than expected. Assembly was simple and took about 15-20 minutes. It appears to be well made of quality materials.

I had looked at a lot of different hall trees, organizational systems for my sons college house. Without seeing his house until move in day, wanted something that would be versatile, easy to assemble and sturdy to last with 4 boys. This foots the bill. The not so handy boys assembled this easily with no hiccoughs, and are able to use this in different areas of the house. This is sturdy, lots of hooks to hang clothes, coats, hats, and the added basket which is nice. Would definitely buy again.

I recently had my walls painted and needed something to replace the hanging 4-hook rack. One of the hooks was broken so it made sense to get something new. I am a 68-year-old woman so there was a little trial and error in putting this coat rack together. If I can do it, anyone can. It's perfect for throwing your jacket on as you come in the door. I also love having the shelves. I use one to place a basket for mail. I haven't used the rails for coat hangers yet, but it's nice having the option. It does come with a strap if you want to secure it to the wall, but I am not using that feature. You may think about using that if there are small children in your home. I am very happy with this purchase.

I ordered this for my bedroom for a little bit of storage, hooks to hang things, and a top shelf high up for a plant so that my cat can't reach it!...this fits all the criteria..it is a large piece and you need 2 people to put it togethet.
