My granddaughter and I assembled the dresser ourselves in about an hour. I am not a DIY person so I was a little surprised that we were able to do this. We just followed the instructions in the booklet that came with it. The dresser is the perfect size for her. It looks very sturdy. We both like the design of the drawers which are easy to pull out.
