Require own tools, cheap wood, long to assemble, uncertain of firmness.

You need your own tools. The wood is cheap particle board. My daughter's been working on it for over 3 hours and isn't even halfway. I'm not sure if it'll be stable.

The bed came on time and was easy to build. A few slats got a bit damaged in shipping but it's okay. The bed looks nice in my room. I'm happy with it.
