We were searching for a dog crate that looks like furniture for our Shih Tzu. We don't close the cage often, but it's good to have the option. As soon as we put our dog's blanket and pillow in, it went in by itself. So cute! We also put the pan from its old crate under its bed, along with a small dog dish for snacks. It took three hours to assemble, and luckily, there were no missing parts or holes. The only problem is the front gate doesn't line up, so we'll keep it closed all the time. I like having the storage for loose things and dog accessories. After reading reviews of other dog furniture crates, I wanted drawers that are closed and not open to the inside of the kennel, as it could be dangerous for pets. Overall, it's nice enough to be in our foyer. I suggest to the manufacturer that they could paint the rails white instead of black, or use mesh instead of bars, and include a dog tray at the bottom of the crate to protect the wood. I definitely recommend this to other buyers.
